Our Story

Sabine & Isabel met in 2003 while working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Over the last 20 years both built impressive international careers becoming leaders in the Sales & Marketing field for the luxury hotel industry. At the same time, Sabine & Isabel have always shared the common vision of establishing their own representation and consultancy company.

In 2020, when COVID-19 turned the hospitality and tourism sector upside down, they have decided to turn their vision into reality. By joining their expertise and passion for the luxury hospitality industry they established RENNER & GROSSE Collection, a Communication, Representation and Consulting firm.

One important pillar of their portfolio will include hotels which focus on “Conscious Travel”; whether this is sustainability, supporting local communities, building connections, wellness or self-fulfillment – ultimately it is about giving meaning and purpose to travel.

Sabine Renner

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Sabine is a Sales & Marketing expert with over two decades of experience. After completing her Tourism Management degree in Austria, she moved to the US for a Management Training Program at the Auberge du Soleil, a Relais & Chateaux hotel . Over the last years, her career has taken her to Spain, France and Dubai where she has led the Sales & Marketing teams at the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai, the Martinez in Cannes and the Park Hyatt Dubai.

Born in Brazil, Sabine has lived in 7 countries and is fluent in 5 languages (German, Portuguese, Spanish, French and English).

She currently shares her time between Munich and Dubai.

Isabel Grosse

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Isabel is a seasoned commercial expert with over 20 years’ experience in the field. She has successfully held several leadership positions in Sales & Marketing for large hotel corporations as well as renowned family led properties. Among others, she has worked for the Schloss Elmau, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and InterContinental Hotel Group. In her last role she was the Director of Leisure Sales Central Europe for Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Isabel has studied tourism at the FH Munich and expanded her hotel experience „on property“ in the US, Egypt and Austria.

Isabel lives with her family in Munich.

Katharina Herbst

Events | Marketing | Ambassador

Katharina has spent over 16 years leading the luxury segment of Airtours and is a key player in the German leisure industry. Her little black book bursts with contacts in the travel industry family and she has spent so much time in and around luxury hotels, she could be considered part of the furniture. Katharina offers a fresh approach to b2b marketing and events.

Her and Renner & Grosse have decided to join forces to bring the right partners together, creating memorable events and long-lasting relationships. As she describes herself, always passionate, always a step ahead – she’s the perfect complementation to the Renner & Grosse Collection team.

Nadine Zinhobl

Business Development

Nadine moved to Dubai in 2006 and has led the leisure departments of several luxury hotels in the city over the last 14 years, including the Fairmont Ajman or the Sofitel on Jumeirah Beach. In her last role at the Park Hyatt Dubai, Nadine has successfully repositioned the hotel in the DACH countries which was an important turning point for the property.

She’s an expert in her field with longstanding experience in the market and outstanding client relations. Nadine is based in Dubai and will support Renner & Grosse Collection in Business Development for the Middle East.
